Attorney and Partner
Andrew Wooten
Andrew Wooten earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2017.
He began his career representing corporations in civil litigation, working on complex disputes with large-scale discovery and significant financial stakes. He then expanded into domestic relations, representing clients in divorce, custody, and other family law matters, work that sharpened his negotiation, motion practice, and trial skills.
He later joined the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office as a Deputy District Attorney and prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases. That role gave him a working view of charging decisions, law enforcement investigations, and courtroom dynamics, which he now uses to anticipate the prosecution’s approach and build a better-informed defense.
He moved to criminal defense full time, bringing together his background in civil litigation, family law, prosecution, and defense.
